Mission
The International Orthopedic Rehabilitation Organization for Isolated Disabled People is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing rehabilitation to the isolated disabled people of the world. Our mission is to help people with physical disabilities improve their quality of life by providing or arranging the provision of needed devices that will make it possible to be ambulatory, thereby gaining a level of independence and dignity. We seek to serve less fortunate disabled people around the world with compassion and restore hope and confidence, but with respect for their natural human dignity. We seek to provide these services isolated people with physical disabilities without any bias to creed, religion, national origin, or political affiliation. As a short term goal however, we have chosen to limit our services to Liberia, West Africa, a country that has undergone a brutal fourteen year civil conflict that left many amputees in the ruins. In the near future, as part of our long-term service goal, we will exert efforts in initiating the provision of services in other neighboring countries such as Ivory coast and Sierra leone after services have been fully established in Liberia.
We cannot undertake this mission without your help. Your support is highly solicited! Please make a donation below.
